TITANIUM BLACK - BLEED FOR YOU

December 3rd, 2006
One recalls hering whisper of Titanium Black some 18 months ago, followed by
an enigmatic silence which is now broken by the release of “Bleed for
you”.Combining elements of Queensryche, Savatage, Nevermore and perhaps in
their quieter moments the wit and lucidity of Saga along with a hint of
Steinman’s theatricality, Titanium Black have crafted an album of elegant
and dark melodic modern metal.
“Quite a machine” is Nevermore with a greater melodic intent as vocalist
Terry Michael LeRoi snarls the dark snap of the lyrical attack, yet with
equal facility the band can ease into the spare piano ballad that is
“Perfect Love” as Le Roi croons like the child of messrs Tate and Oliva. Yet
“Miles Away” twists and uncoils like HIM grown up on Meatloaf and “Torn to
Pieces” is Saga gone metal. Titanium Black. Recall the name for one day you
may revere it . (GREAT DANE RECORDS)
